Due to limited interest from approved buyers on the NSP buyers’ list, Lee County’s NSP program will be accepting applications on the following home(s) once listed on the MLS:
2106 Flora Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33907
These properties will be re-listed on the MLS on February 17, 2016. Applicants must meet current NSP income guidelines, be qualified for a mortgage, not currently own a home, and the buyer must continue to own and occupy the house or be subject to repayment of mortgage held by Lee County. NO INVESTORS.
How the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Works
Lee County buys foreclosed homes in target areas at below the appraised value,
then professional contractors transform less than perfect properties into truly good
buys. Lee County does not mark up the prices like a regular seller. So, even as the
economy improves, these homes are guaranteed to stay affordable.
Better still, the County will provide a soft second mortgage and reasonable closing
cost assistance to help subsidize buyer costs.
The NSP Program of Lee County is being administered through the Lee County Department of Human Services under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners. Lee County Housing Development Corporation
